Apple has reportedly [1] seeded a new build Mac OS X Leopard late last week. The new build, numbered 9A303 improves performances and fixes several bugs.

Reports point out significant performance improvements on Rosetta when using Mac OS X 10.4.8, the latest update to Tiger.

MacWorld claims [2] that, according to its benchmarks, applications running on Rosetta under Mac OS X 10.4.8 are 30% faster than when running on an earlier version of Tiger.
