As planned, Apple introduced the iPhone in the U.K. and Germany last Friday. The first figures appear to be good for both countries.
Both O2 and T-Mobile, the respective iPhone carriers for the U.K. and Germany, claim to have sold tens of thousands iPhones during the first week-end after the launch.
The only specific number was provided by T-Mobile, which claims more than 10 000 units were sold the first day.
Apple sold 270 000 iPhones during the first week-end after the launch of the device in the U.S., it has since sold more than two million iPhones.
France is now awaiting the iPhone for November 29.
