As expected, Apple has made available Mac OS X 10.4.3 update through the Software Update utility.

In contradiction with what we said late last week, when we were reporting that Mac OS X 10.4.3 update was coming soon, reports are claiming that Apple has not fixed yet the PowerMac G5 Single 1.8Ghz issue on this update.

Apple has updated its data backup utility, Backup, to version 3.0.1. Backup is coming bundled with any .Mac account.

Apple has updated two of its professionnal video applications, Final Cut Pro and Cinema Tools.

Apple has just quietly launched its Australian iTunes Music Store. Songs are priced $1.69 (AUS) each while videos are priced $3.39.

Users of the iPod nano have filed a class action suit against Apple this week. It is claimed that the new iPod nano scratches too easily and becomes unusable even during normal usage.

Apple could eventually launch its iTunes Music Store in Australia soon. The Australian music store should be announced on October the 25th and launched on October the 31st, according to press reports.
