After temporarily closing its online store, Apple announced the immediate availability of Final Cut Server.

Final Cut Server is a software solution for media asset management and workflow automation which totally integrates with Apple's Pro video editing solutions such as Final Cut Pro.

“With the introduction of Final Cut Server, collaboration just got a whole lot easier for millions of editors, producers and clients who work with Final Cut Studio,” said Rob Schoeben, Apple’s vice president of Applications Product Marketing.

Final Cut Server is priced $999 for a 10-client license, $1999 for an unlimited-client license while the upgrade from the 10-client to the unlimited-client licence costs $999.
