Apple has sent invitations for a special event dedicated to the iPhone's software roadmap. "Please join us to learn about the iPhone software roadmap, including the iPhone SDK and some exciting new enterprise features. The event takes places at Apple, Building 4, Town Hall on March 6 at 10:00 a.m. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Arrive early for this invitation-only event," The invitation reads. The main topic is expected to be the Software Development Kit (SDK) which will allow third-party developers to bring their applications to the iPhone as well as the iPod touch. The invitation also mentions "enterprise features" though, the most likely enterprise feature to arrive on the iPhone being Exchange support. The iPhone / iPod touch SDK was announced back in October for a release this month but appears to have a few days of delay. via Reuters Bookmark/Search this post with:
