UPDATE: The Apple Store has re-opened with new linups of MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Apple's online stores are down worldwide, showing the usual yellow sticky inviting users to come back later. The message "We are busy updating the store for you and will be back shortly" has been visible on update Tuesdays for the past weeks. A Pink iPod nano, new iPod shuffles and Aperture 2 during the last few weeks, while the XServe RAID was removed from Apple's offering. It has been rumoured since January that the company will renew its MacBook Pro linup but latest reports mention the possibility that the MacBook (not Pro) linup is also renewed. New features on these rumoured new laptops are speed improvements and multi-touch trackpads. The MacBook Pro lineup hasn't seen any update for the last eight months.
