Apple announced today a new iPod shuffle model with twice the storage capacity and slashed the current model's pricing.

The new model will include 2GB of storage space instead of 1GB in the current one. It will be available in a few days for $69 while the 1GB model is now priced just $49.

No other changes have been made in terms of features, both models are available in 5 colors: gray, blue, green, purple and RED with the (PRODUCT)RED operation.

Recently Apple introduced a Pink iPod nano model, a 32Gb version of the iPod touch as well as a 16Gb version of the iPhone.

Btw, I bought the nano model last week and it rocks!
