Apple may be planning a special event at the end of this month if some Internet reports ar to be believed.

According to TUAW, Mira Mobile, which provides work force for various evens is hiring for an Apple event which will take place in the week of February.

"TUAW has received a tip that the company that does television for Apple's live events and Macworld is apparently hiring for an unannounced Apple event at the end of February." TUAW reports.

In addition, MacRumors, which cites the story claims it has received a similar tip a few weeks ago.

The most likely announcement to be made during this even is the iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK). We could also see other iPhone related announcements though.

Meanwhile, the company is rumored to have accelerated negotiations with several European operators over exclusivity of the iPhone in their respective countries. The iPhone is currently only available in the U.S.A, U.K., Germany and France.
