Apple has posted another update for iTunes, bringing it to version 7.4.2. Tunes 7.4.2 addresses an issue with creating ringtones using iTunes Plus song purchases and includes bug fixes to improve stability and performance. The update is available either through the Software Update utility or through Apple's support web site. This is the third iTunes release in the month. Apple has initially updated iTunes to version 7.4 at the occasion of a special event during which it released new iPods then it updated it to version 7.4.1 so as to fix issues and stop hacks related to the iPhone ring-tone maker. Like the previous update, iTunes 7.4.2 tries to prevent hackers from converting music files to ring-tones without paying the $0.99 charge. Bookmark/Search this post with:
