Here is a brief catch-up on iPod/iPhone news. 6G iPod on August 7 Apple will release its 6th generation iPod on August 7, according to ThinkSecret. The device will feature a visually updated operating system but shouldn't use the iPhone's form factor display and operating system. A video posted recently by MacRumors appears to coincide with ThinkSecret's claimings. The video has been pulled-off by the site on Apple's formal request. New iMac keyboard's pictures? Engadget has posted some pictures of what is claimed to be Apple's forthcoming ultra-slim keyboard that will come with the iMac. The pictures look real, however, it's unsure whether the device is really made by Apple. It does have an Apple sticker on the backside but it could have been made by the person who took the pictures. Apple sued over iPhone's battery José Trujillo has filed (via Gizmodo) a class-action suit against Apple over the lack of information on the abillity to change the iPhone's battery. The lawsuit says Apple hasn't informed its customers that the battery of the iPhone wasn't user replacable. The operation can only be done by Apple and requires to send the iPhone to Apple and costs $86. It is also claimed that the iPhone's battery total life is no more than one year, which is not really true. The lawyer bases his claim on the fact Apple says the battery may stop operating properly after 400 recharging cycles. It is assumed that the customer uses the battery of his iPhone everyday and recharges it daily. Bookmark/Search this post with:
