UPDATE (Jul. 9 2007 - 10:19 GMT): According to separate unconfirmed reports, Apple may bundle a new keyboard with the next revision of the iMac line-up.

The next iMac revision could eventually be released on August and feature a brushed metal enclosure, recent report claims.

"The elegant new enclosure will somewhat resemble the current white iMac but is said to feature a shorter space below the actual display, where most of the internals are housed," ThinkSecret reports.

The report also re-iterates earlier claimings that Apple will offer two models only: a 20 inch and a 24 inch with speeds up to 2.4Ghz.

MacScoop recently revealed that the next iteration of iLife has gone Golden Master and we think the new consumer-oriented software suite is likely to be released alongside the new iMac line-up.

I am about to buy my first

I am about to buy my first mac and have decided on the 20 inch. I first heard the rumor of the revised model about a month ago. I am enthused and ready to buy so I hope it comes out soon. This month would be nice.(:)

I've been with Mac's ever

I've been with Mac's ever since the Lisa (!) and I can hardly wait. There's conversation about a new keyboard - I hope so. I'm using Microsoft "Natural" keyboards. Once you get used to one (regardless of mfgr) you'll never go back. What with Apple being on the leading edge, I wonder why they keep going with a flat keyboard.
Oh, well.... my birthday present will be a couple of weeks late this year...

UPDATE: According to AppleInsider's report (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/07/07/09/next_gen_imacs_to_bundle_new_apple_keyboard.html) which we are trying to steal and play off as our own secret information, Apple's new iMac will bundle a new keyboard.

You unfortunately haven't

You unfortunately haven't noticed how ironic I meant to be when I posted the update.

Read the end of their report, then read this:

You'll understand why I did this.

I won't continue the discussion here as I'm not willing to complain about things like that publicly on the Internet. At least another site has already complained publicly about AI's conduct and I don't think they deserve any free advertising from me.

If you don't agree or think I'm doing paranoia, please drop an IM account name on my mailbox so I can give you more clues about how often AppleInsider is the original source of the information it publishes.

Oh, and send an email to AI's editor notifying him about that. I would be so glad to discuss that matter with him, last time I wrote him for that, he just ignored my e-mail.
