Here is an iPod/iTunes news catch-up for this week: Apple posts new iPod ad A new iPod ad has been posted on Apple's web site. It features "Mi Swing Es Tropical" by Nickodemus & Quantic featuring Tempo and shows silhouettes performing latin dance on a colorful graphical background. Worth watch ing it here. iPod shuffle's price drops in Europe At the occasion of the MacBook speed-bump, Apple also quietly dropped the price of the iPod shuffle in European stores. Apple's entry level digital music player is now priced 79€ instead of 89€ but is still more expensive than the $79 price tag U.S. consumers can benefit from. This price drop coincides with the release of a tiny super-affordable MP3 player made by Creative, priced about $50 and offering similar features as the shuffle. Paul McCartney on iTunes The same day, Apple announced that it is making available the album "Memory Almost Full by the former Beatles member, Paul McCartney as an iTunes exclusive. This hints at an imminent agreement regarding the availability of The Beetle's discography on iTunes. Bookmark/Search this post with:
