ThinkSecret claims to have source "pointing the possibility" that Apple releases touch-screen iPod as soon as on Tuesday. The information, which comes from an unproven source, suggests that Apple will show off the new iPod tomorrow but will hold off on shipping the device until later in June when the iPhone ships. The site says that its source has not proved to be reliable yet, but the report strangely reminds us a report we published one week after Apple announced the iPhone back in January. At that time, MacScoop had obtained reports claiming the Multi-Touch powered "widescreen iPod" was at the end of its development and that there was strong possibility this new iPod is unveiled before even the iPhone is made available. MacScoop didn't obtain any further confirmation on this subject since the first report we published. Meanwhile, MacRumors, which mentions the report on its Page 2 - claims to have its own sources denying the report. ArsTechnica pushed the analysis a bit further and concludes that if any update is to happen tomorrow, it will be no more than a storage-bump. Bookmark/Search this post with:
