Apple has started sending invitations to the media for a special event scheduled on April 15 during the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters).

The invitation's title is "Lights Camera 'Apple logo'" while the teaser states "Please join us for a special presentation at NAB in The Venetian Hotel and Casino on Sunday, April 15 at 11:00 am. Seating is limited for this invitation-only event."

The NAB takes place in Las Vegas from April 14 to 18. Several companies - including Apple - developing products for professionals are gathering every year and usually announce new pro-oriented products.

Apple has already made software announcements such as new versions of FInal Cut Pro during this event. One could expect the company to release a major update to its Pro audio-video suite and maybe some hardware updates such as updated Mac Pros or/and Cinema Displays.
