Apple has released the long awaited Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.9 update today as well as a minor update of iPhoto, bringing it to version 6.0.6. Mac OS X 10.4.9 Update: This new version fixes hundreds of bugs and brings some small improvements as says the description provided by Apple: The 10.4.9 Update is recommended for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers currently running Mac OS X Tiger version 10.4.8 and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for the following applications and technologies: - RAW camera support For detailed information on this Update, please visit this website: http://www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n304821. The update weights 74.4Mb for the PowerPC versiona and 160MB for the Intel version. iPhoto 6.0.6: At the same time, a new version of iPhoto has been released, it "addresses issues associated with EXIF data compatibility and Photocasting."
