Apple has announced that it will delay the shipping of the Apple TV - its recently announced living-room appliance - to mid-March. "Wrapping up Apple TV is taking a few weeks longer than we projected, and we now expect to begin shipments mid-March," spokeswoman Lynn Fox told Reuters. The company had denied recent reports claiming a delay on the Apple TV but is now confirming it. Those who have ordered the Apple TV are now seeing shipping dates of mid to end March.
