In a report published earlier today, the Taiwan-based online publication Digitimes is re-iterating its earlier reports claiming that Apple is planing to introduce a 15.4 inch MacBook. This new model is now said to be scheduled for Q2 2007 (calendar) and should be priced between the MacBook and the MacBook Pro line-up, offering greater competitiveness to Apple's laptop line-ups for the second half of this year. The publication recently published another very corraborated report claiming Apple will use LED backlight technology in the next-generation of MacBook Pros. Apple needs to address the $1500-$1700 15 inch market.
