As previously rumoured, Adobe has released a beta version of Adobe Photoshop CS 3.

This version is a universal binary and represents a major change in terms of performance when running on Intel-based Macs.

Recently, analysts pointed out that the release of Adobe Photoshop and the Creative Suite for the Intel Macs could boost Apple sales. The final version of Adobe Creative Suite 3 is scheduled for the first half of 2007.

Does it make a difference,

Does it make a difference, performance wise universal binary version vs. native intel version running on an intel mac? Or should I wait for a native Intel version?

-Thanks! :-)

I don't think an Intel-only

I don't think an Intel-only binary would be faster. It just takes a lot more space on the hard drive.
