Smarthouse.com.au cites Taiwanese sources claiming that Apple is working on a Tablet Mac that will be released in 2007. The Tablet Mac is said to feature a touch screen, a docking station and wireless streaming capabilities. It's also said the device should be powered by Intel processors. The site claims that Apple is already working with manufacturers for this new device. Among them, the usual Hon Hai and Quanta Taiwanese are said to be both in agreement with Apple on this device. Apple has long been rumoured to be working on a tablet Mac, while the company has filed several touch-screen and other input methods-related patents.
