Creative Corp has filed a complaint and requests investigation by the U.S. International Trade Commission and has filed a lawsuit against Apple Computer over patent infridgement on the iPod's user interface. Last year, Creative Corps had been granted a patent filing which is refered to as the "Zen Patent". It describes similar user interface as used in the iPod since its introduction and in newer models such as the iPod mini, iPod nano and the iPod 5G. Creative Corps seeks an exclusion order and cease and desist order as well as an injunction and increased damages against Apple. UPDATE: More on this Reuters report. Bookmark/Search this post with:
