Here is a mix of recent not covered yet news: Bye bye, Avie: Avie Tevanian is going to leave Apple by early April. The engineer was at Next before Apple buys the company and was one of the leaders of the development of Mac OS X. Intel's quad-core chip: Citing Taiwanese motherboard makers, Digitimes claims that Intel will be announcing its first quad-core chip named "Kentsfield" by the first quarter of 2007. Retail stores, Adobe CS 3 ThinkSecret reports that Apple is planning to open new retail stores this year, including a new Manhattan location and other international locations like UK, Canada, Italy and Japan. The site also notices in the same report posted last week that Adobe's CEO said to Forbes that the company was going to delay Adobe CS 3 on the second quarter of 2007.
