MacObserver reports analysts comments about Apple and the iPod business and highlights their claims that Apple will release a "real" video iPod on April the 1st. "However, looking ahead to the second half of this year, the analysts saw an investment opportunity "ahead of a likely sharp ramp in demand and orders.' They cited "independent confirmation from a reliable industry source" that Apple will likely launch a redesigned video iPod "this spring, possibly as early as its 30th anniversary on April 1.'" This new video iPod is expected to offer a larger LCD display, more battery life and storage capacity. It will probably be priced between $400 and $500, according to the analysts' comments.
