According to AppleInsider, Apple has seeded the first builds of Mac OS X 10.4.5 (Tiger) Update. The builds, numbered 8H3 and 8H5 focus on the following areas :

- Safari,
- CoreGraphics
- Mac OS X Dock
- Mac OS X crash report
- Software Update
- MSDOS file system compatibility
