As reports eWeek, Intel has decided to start an internal group called "Apple", as a result of Apple's switch to the x86 architecture.
The author argues it is usual for Intel to create specific groups for important customers so we can't say it's a major change in Intel's organisation.
The author also speculates that the partnership between Apple and Intel could go further than the use of Intel processors on Macs..
