According to analyst Benjamin A. Reitzes of UBS Investment Research (Forbes report), Apple should be ready to launch an Intel-based Mac mini during MacWorld SF in January 2006.

The analyst believes Apple could launch its first Intel-based Mac before the announced timeframe of June 2006.

Reitzes also notes that Apple should release further video content for its recently released iPod and raises its target price for Apple's shares to $74 (from $65).
