According to TheInquirer, Apple would like that Intel releases its Woodcrest and Merom processors earlier than planned.

The article claims that Apple would like to use these processors by mid-2006 although Intel has planned to release them only in late 2006.

But Intel won't modify its roadmap for an industry player as little as Apple, according to the article. Companies like DELL order about ten times more Intel processors each quarter.
