Reliable sources confirmed us today that Apple is planning to release an updated Mac mini line with top processor speed of 1.5Ghz. Rumours that Apple would soon update this product line surfaced earlier this week. The sources did not mention the entry-level Mac mini's clock speed, which is rumoured run to at 1.33Ghz but we believe it's the most obvious possibility. Reports claim the new Mac minis will use 5400rpm 2.5" hard drives from Seagate (current models use 4200rpm drives). The product line should keep the same price and will be updated by next week with immediate availability. UPDATE: More sources claim Apple will update the Mac mini during the month of October.
