Here's a quick catch-up with the latest Apple news: Late last week, AppleInsider reported that Apple would be ready for the release of iTunes 4.9 a little bit earlier than announced by Steve Jobs durinf D: All Things Digital conference. According to the site AppleInsider also reports that Apple was sued by Contois Music Technology for patent infrigement on the iTunes user interface. The company is pointing out several points on the iTunes user interface that are described by their patent and is seeking an injunction to prevent them from distributing their software. According The Register, Taiwan's Economic Daily News has reported that AsusTek will produce Apple's upcoming iBooks that will have a 16/10 form factor and will use 15.4 inch widescreen TFT displays.
