Apple has dropped the single 1.8Ghz PowerMac G5 from its online store earlier today. The PowerMac was introduced about six months ago for $1499 and was the most affordable PowerMac on the bottom of the line.

Now Apple only sells dual processor PowerMacs on its store with a starting price of $1999. However, the European stores still list the single 1.8Ghz PowerMac which is seling for 1449€.
