An unconfirmed report informs us that Apple plans to release Mac OS X 10.4.2 update as soon as tomorrow. The development of the update has reached final stage late last week, according to the source.

Mac OS X 10.4.2 fixes dozens of bugs and enhances the functionnality of Dashboard, making it easier to manage third-party widgets, according to several reports and many Mac-centric web sites.

Today, AppleInsider reported that Apple is already making the necessary to provide the latest version of Mac OS X 10.4.2 through retail sales. The site also claims that the update's release is imminent and provides more information on the bug fixes and enhancements that the update brings.
