According to Digitimes, Samsung Electronics and Toshiba are planning to ramp up their production of 8Gbit flash memory modules so as to supply Apple.
Digitimes claims that Apple will use 2GB and 4GB memory modules for its next generaton iPod shuffles, to double the capacity of its entry-level digital music players.
However, we have to note that Digitimes hasn't been very accurate in its past predictions.
