A search in the patents and trademarks office database reveals that Apple has filed two new trademarks : "iPod Socks" and "Jam Box". "iPod Socks" was filed on April 11, 2005, as : "Jam Box" was filed on April 18, 2005, as : The database also contains a picture for the trademark. "iPod Socks" is obviously the trademark of Apple's recently announced socks for the iPod while "Jam Box" could be the rumoured Asteroid hardware audio interface for GarageBand, for which Apple has recently sued online apple-centric news web sites.
