Sources have reported to us that a new build of Mac OS X Tiger, numbered 8A428, has been declared Golden Master earlier today, which means its development is completed and it is ready for duplication.

These reports confirm AppleInsider's article that was published just a few hours ago.

As we had previously reported, a release candidate build of Tiger was seeded to developers earlier this week. Additionally, last week, Amazon started taking pre-orders for Tiger at US$94.99, including a mail-in rebate of US$35.
