As promised, we're resuming the publication today, starting with a brief sum-up and commentary to catch-up with the latest news since late last week. Late last week, MacBidouille mentioned a job posting from Apple on the Open-GL Mac forum. This job posting shows Apple is looking for a developer to help to improve OpenGL on Mac. The site speculated that this was due to recent negative comments on the performance of ID Software's Doom 3 on Mac. According to AppleInsider, Apple might be preparing to open a retail store in Amsterdam. The article actually mentions MacNed.nl which claims the Amsterdam store will be located in "Building 16 in Dam Square". Eventually, as many sites have reported, Apple has seeded build 8A420 of Mac OS X Tiger to developers. This build shows Tiger is almost finalized and now testing focuses on compatibity with all Macs.
