A search in the U.S. Patents and Trademarks office database reveals that Apple has filed, on March the 8th, a trademark for its iPod shuffle logo, already used on the product itself and on advertising material.

The logo symbolizes the capability of the iPod shuffle to randomize your playlist and is represented by two crossed arrows
