Insanely Great Mac has reported earlier this week that there is a reference of the PowerPC 970MP in a document available on IBM's web site. The document describes how to use the thermal diodes that the new processor has the PowerPC 970MP is clearly mentioned as "the next evolutionary step in the PowerPC 970 family". Last week, we reported that readers had hinted the references of "970MP" and the support of more than two processors in the MONster utility which comes with the CHUD 4.1 developer utilities. Apple has since updated its CHUD tools to version 4.1.1 but has not removed the references to the new processor and the support for four CPUs. Bookmark/Search this post with:
