UPDATE: Amazon has stopped taking pre-orders on Tiger, availability dates have disappeared. Readers noticed that Amazon has started accepting pre-orders for Apple's next major operating system release, Mac OS X Tiger 10.4 on it's online store. The item is priced $129.95 and the given availability date is March 31 2005. The item has been added only on the U.S. site. We can guess this is an anticipation by amazon so as to attract those who would like to be the first users of Tiger and can't stand waiting for it to be released.
